About the Conference.
This year’s theme: The Mycelium Network
The theme for the 2024 Boutique Hotel Owners Conference by BLLA, "The Mycelium Network," symbolizes the interconnectedness and collaboration essential in today's hospitality industry. Just as mycelium threads weave a complex, symbiotic web beneath the forest floor, boutique hotel owners and industry leaders must forge strong connections to thrive. This theme highlights the importance of mutual support, shared knowledge, and innovative partnerships in a dynamic market. The mycelium network metaphor also underscores the potential for growth and resilience, as these fungal networks sustain and nourish ecosystems. By embracing this concept, the conference aims to inspire attendees to cultivate their own networks, fostering a community that thrives through collective strength and adaptive strategies. This holistic approach reflects the evolving landscape of boutique hospitality, where collaboration and connectivity are key to navigating challenges and achieving sustainable success.
One thing has been clear over the course of fifteen years of the boutique movement ….. this community is a magnet for pioneers. We absorb the abstract, we capture the attention of the daring and we always throw together the unexpected. As a community, we have altered the hospitality industry, and continue to do so every day.
As are all of our events, this is a center for commerce, culture, and art in hospitality. This is a creator-driven conference. The purpose of this conference is to make the simple and boring in our industry, interesting. We liberate what it means to be a hotelier and progress the boutique sector of hospitality into the future.
From September 16-17 of 2024, we will gather global leaders and followers in the Boutique Hospitality space to come together and refuel our industry as we navigate the next phase of contemporary travel. BLLA Events will bring together professionals in the global Boutique Hospitality space to engage in facilitated networking and focus on the topics of Hotel Ownership, Management, Leadership and Innovation.
Designed to foster discussion among those who understand that as the boutique landscape flourishes, successful business models for hotels are becoming more abstract and that impact is in one of its most complex states. Learning the tools, hearing of successful strategies, and getting an overview of what the market looks like will be the primary focus alongside the ability to network with potential clients, investors, and collaborators.
Join our Founders, Fran & Ariela, as well as some of the world’s brightest hotel minds as we host the 13th annual Boutique Hotel Owners Conference by BLLA.
Attend to meet industry leaders, creatives and trailblazers for two days of impactful dialogue and organic connections. More than 30 speakers and 150 attendees will come together to exchange perspectives on reimagining the hospitality industry.
