A little bit about Romina…
Romina Nicolino, a spa concept designer and reference in the world of Hospitality and Wellness, provides solutions tailored to each client, creating innovative concept in the development of the spa. Cooperating with architects and interior designers, always in touch with trends, develop plans to turn a spa into success. As a Director of AKEN Spa & Wellness, the franchise brand for spas of AMEK Group, when opening a new spa or revamping an existing one, she takes care the complete approach to spa design, spa concepts, brand identity, spa menu design, business strategy, staff training and spa management.
Postgraduate in Hotel Management at SHMS – Swiss Hotel Management School, in Caux/Montreaux, Switzerland; a Bachelor degree in Tourism at Universidad del Salvador and a Certificate at Business Communication at Universidad de Palermo, both in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Romina has acquired 20 years of international experience in the hospitality and wellness industries both in renowned hotel companies and consulting firms such as: Hyatt, Hilton, Rocco Forte, FAENA Hotels, Caesar Park, Leading Hotels of the World, HVS, Horwath HTL and Hostling.
Romina is a recognized wellness influencer in Argentina. She is Hotel & Spa Editor for LatamNoticias and her personal blog www.rominanicolinowellness.com She also spends time working as mystery shopper for hotels and spas. She has just become a Brand Ambassador for Spa Connectors.
She is half Argentine and half Italian, was born in Buenos Aires, completed her studies in Switzerland and worked for most important hotel chains and consultant companies in South America and Europe.
