A little bit about Will…

Will Cooper leads the design team and directs brand strategy. He oversees all design projects, including company-held real estate, private clients and the ASH Market furniture collection. Will was previously on the Global Retail Brand Development Team at Ralph Lauren in New York. Will was raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University.

Thus, ASH NYC was founded in 2008 to go beyond real estate investment and development by using design as a central pillar of creation. A few years later in 2012, Heckman had entered the hospitality world unintentionally with his own boutique hotel. Now, Cooper leads the design team with his eye for design, while Minkoff drives the financial side of the business. The group explains what challenges they have faced since the company’s founding and how they have continued to thrive and remain true to their mission in this ever-changing environment.
