A little bit about Vail…

Vail Ross is Senior Vice President of Global Business Development & Marketing for STR. Vail is responsible for the overall coordination, functional management and leadership of the business development and marketing strategies for STR.  She is often featured as a guest speaker at international, national, regional and state conferences. Vail is the past chair for both the AH&LA Women In Lodging (WIL) and the HSMAI Foundation Board of Directors.  Currently an active member of the Destinations International Foundation Board of Trustees, Greater Nashville Hospitality Association Board, and the Margaret Maddox YMCA of Nashville. She is a past recipient of the American Hotel & Lodging Association John Whitaker Award, which is presented to an outstanding hotel industry partner for their dedication to and innovation within the industry.
