He has also worked with technology vendor partners, and as an independent hospitality consultant. Between 2018 and 2021, Neil lived on the island of Saint Helena, with his family, to help with the development of a niche tourism industry, where a newly built airport and submarine communications data linkage came with the promise of improved economic prospects for a small and extremely remote community. Neil’s ongoing motivation is to understand the nature of technology, where it improves quality of life and human connection in the spirit of hospitality.
Neil enjoys running, reading, and spending time outdoors with his family. Neil resides in Vancouver, Canada, with his wife and two children.
