A little bit about Jonathan…
Jonathan Minkoff leads financial and business operations at ASH NYC. He is responsible for directing the analytics and underwriting team, as well as liaising with lenders, investors and outside counsel. He was previously at Cayuga Capital Management. Jonathan was raised in Bethesda, Maryland and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a degree in Economics. His family is active in the real estate and construction industries in the Washington, DC area.

Thus, ASH NYC was founded in 2008 to go beyond real estate investment and development by using design as a central pillar of creation. A few years later in 2012, Heckman had entered the hospitality world unintentionally with his own boutique hotel. Now, Cooper leads the design team with his eye for design, while Minkoff drives the financial side of the business. The group explains what challenges they have faced since the company’s founding and how they have continued to thrive and remain true to their mission in this ever-changing environment.
