A little bit about Erik…
Erik is a senior brand strategist with 20+ years of marketing leadership working in premium hospitality, fashion, and spirit industries. He founded Satellite Design in 2006 and with creative director, Kevin Cantrell, has spearheaded identities for a variety of international and US based hotels: The Cottonhouse Hotel (Barcelona), Villa Beluno (Patagonia, AG), The Chateau Grande Hotel (New York), Hotel Círculo Gran Vía (Madrid).
Our mission is to shape human experience through design moments. A life of brut-functional existence is not worth living. But, to walk amongst, touch, and glide into the sure hand of exquisitely thoughtful environments does more than provide a respite—it rouses the mind and lights the soul. Properties that unify matters of the heart with aesthetic form, color, and symbol build identities with emotional impact and cultural significance. Philosophically, design experiences that embrace guests in an affinity of ideas and wonder, awaken within us as sense of the Divine.
