Founder & CEO of GO PR
A little bit about Gizem…
Over the past 13 years, Gizem has managed comprehensive, multitiered campaigns for clients across a variety of industries – hospitality and travel, design, real estate, beauty, lifestyle and fashion. From national launches to celebrity partnerships, she has been the driving force behind both the concept and the execution of these major initiatives, generating significant results and elevating brand profiles into household names.
Gizem will tell you that success comes from developing a compelling narrative. Having started her career penning stories for glossy lifestyle publications, Gizem taps into her skillful storytelling to amplify key messages for high profile clients. Prior to launching her own boutique hospitality public relations firm, GO PR, Gizem was a Vice President at NJF, leading the largest portfolio of clients for the Agency, managing over $2M in annual revenue.
In her tenure, Gizem has launched and relaunched over 35 hotels worldwide and is most credited for transforming the profile of Asbury Park into a burgeoning destination to stay, play and live, helping to stewart milestones for the City including a 300% increase in tourism and the sale of 2100 homes, strengthening Asbury Park’s tax base, employment opportunities, and economic backbone. Client experience includes work with BD Hotels, pioneering the micro-hotel concept for Pod Hotels, Dan Gilbert’s Bedrock in Detroit to launch Shinola Hotel in the Motor City and helping wellness brand Canyon Ranch evolve with international expansion and rebranding efforts.
Now as Founder & CEO of GO PR, Gizem has solidified her boutique firm as the go-to for indie hospitality brands and hip destinations – hotel clients include the likes of Gansevoort Meatpacking, Walker Hotels, New Orleans' Ace as well as Tourisme Montréal and Visit Denmark. With Gizem at the helm, the company has doubled in clients and staff in the past two years.
