A little bit about David…

David B. Wolfe, Esq. specializes in commercial property tax appeals. He has a long track record of assisting hoteliers reduce their property tax liabilities, save money, and ultimately increase the value of their holdings. He and his firm, Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. of Livingston, NJ, have helped hotel owners, operators and developers obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in assessment reductions from jurisdictions across the country. Mr. Wolfe’s granular understanding of the complexities of hotel valuations for property tax purposes, the fundamentals of hotel property tax appeals, and the different approaches to hotel valuations in that context make him a sought-after attorney by owners and investors alike.

In consideration of what has been a difficult business climate for hotel owners—with steep downturns in business and leisure travel due to COVID-19 pandemic stay-at-home orders and other restrictions—Mr. Wolfe is working closely with hotel owners to challenge local taxing jurisdictions to alleviate tax burdens.
