A little bit about Wendy…
Wendy Zapach is a hotelier who happens to be a decade into a hospitality technology career. She got into hotels the old fashioned way, looking for work after a pretty uneventful but exceptionally fun set of years at the University of Connecticut. Working in a 5 star hotel through operations and sales she learned the value of process, graciousness, the power of a smile, eye contact and most importantly, the definition of hard work. Wendy went on to open Tucker's Point Bermuda, as the Director of Sales & Marketing and was part of a team which transitioned the property to the Rosewood portfolio and quickly learned the value of working at a luxury hotel group.
Wendy joined TravelClick in 2012 where she built a $2m into a $10min region in 4 years. She was the number one sales person in the company for 3 years of her tenure and a 4 year winner of president's club. She has spent the past nearly 5 years building the sales team, revenue and business development at ALICE, a hotel operations company, where she grew the revenue from $500k to over $20m and currently serves as their SVP of Sales.
