A little bit about Ellen…

Ellen Brown is EVP at Fulcrum Hospitality, a boutique advisory, asset management and real estate investment firm focused on the hospitality and gaming industries.  Fulcrum oversees nearly $6 billion in assets comprising over 25,000 branded, lifestyle and independent hotel rooms.

At Fulcrum, Ellen works with partners to identify potential acquisition opportunities as well as develop strategies to increase operating profits and, thereby, enhance asset value on existing hotels and portfolios. 

Prior to joining Fulcrum, Ellen was EVP of Acquisitions and Development at Denihan, where she negotiated numerous high-profile transactions for the company.  Ellen also provided advisory services to hospitality clients at firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Landauer Associates.  Named a ‘Woman of Influence’ by Real Estate Forum in 2013, Brown serves on the President’s Council of Cornell Women and WX New York Women in Real Estate.  She is active with the Women’s Prison Association which helps women transition from prison to civilian life. She is a graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration.
