A little bit about Andrea…
Current responsibilities
Andrea Grigg leads the Global Asset Management practice for JLL. She oversees the JLL cross-border practice, working in collaboration with the regional asset management leads. JLL’s Hotels Global Asset Management practice currently oversees 110 hotels and resorts under the umbrella of 45 brands with over 29,000 rooms valued at more than $10.3 billion.
Ms. Grigg also oversees the operator/brand selection and management contract negotiation services in the Americas, allowing us to better align the selection process and better serve our clients by sharing global best practices.
Ms. Grigg is personally involved in the strategic asset management of the entire JLL Americas and Global Asset Management portfolios and interacts with senior-level ownership, brand, and management executives. In this capacity, she strives to ensure JLL’s asset management services are tailored to meet our clients’ objectives and ensures the necessary resources are deployed to meet our clients’ ambitions.
Experience
Ms. Grigg brings 24 years of leisure real estate and hospitality industry experience to her role as practice leader, including luxury resort and master-planned community operations, branded residential sales consulting, and hotel asset management.
She has an extensive background in real estate and hospitality asset management and has worked with some of the most prominent owners, brands, and independent management companies worldwide. Ms. Grigg’s first-hand asset management experience includes iconic hotels and resorts and complex hotel portfolios in the Americas.
Ms. Grigg joined JLL in 2007. Prior to her role with JLL, Ms. Grigg was the Transactions Manager for Lynch Investments and Assistant Vice President for Contact Development Corporation.
Education and affiliations
Ms. Grigg graduated from the University of Morón (UM) School of Tourism in Argentina in 1995. Ms. Grigg is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA).
She has participated as a speaker at numerous industry conferences – including NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference and the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) and authored thought leadership content.
